In Esrolia, the Bad Queen ruled her subjects harshly and forgot the Earth principles. The goddesses finally took offence and destroyed her palace during the night. Now, only a few crumbling walls and a strangely shaped land remind passers-by of the Bad Queen House and Ernalda's anger.

The place is in Esrolia. Due to an ancient curse, only rocks will grow there. Grains never germinates and any stone which is taken away, mysteriously reappears during the night. No one knows the origin of the curse or the way to lift it. Many holy women and shamans have wielded their magic there, in vain.

In many Esrolian fields, traces of very old holy places dedicated to the Earth and Her lovers can be found. Each year, during Earth Season, villagers come to dance and feast around these stones. The small daimon inhabiting the stones give its blessing to young couples. Elsewhere, equivalent daimones have been chosen as wyters by villages.
